From Birth to 1 Year Old Baby Montessori Activities (0-3 / 3-6 / 7-8 / 9-10 / 11-12 months)
Montessori for Babies
The only thing that a newborn baby needs is to feel safe, and thus needs her mother.
The mother should satisfy the needs of her baby on time. She should be ready for help whenever the baby needs.
Your baby start following the objects in this period. She becomes aware of her hands and produces some sounds.
She loves watching herself in the mirror.
Chat a lot with her and start reading books. these will improve her word accumulation and brain development.
If you want your baby to be bilingual, speak her on that language from the birth.
Babies realises black and white colored objects and photos. So you can use munari mobiles and black and white colored cards.
And of course, sensorial development is the core of Montessori approach. When your baby starts moving put different type of materials under her feet, such as paper, plastic, towel, etc.

Montessori Activities for 3-6 Month Old Babies
Previously, we were using conrast colors, black and white. In these months, we can start using colorful objects. Attractive colors are preferred. You can prepare sensorial bottles.
Additionally, sounds attracts her more. Thus, materials that make sound may be preferred. And also, different types of materials especially those improving senses of your baby. To reach at this goal, I made a sensorial ball. It targets four different senses: 5 different treasures, 5 different colors, 3 different odors, 2 different sounds.
You can put a pack in a socks to make sound and give her.
You can hang some different types of ropes on her mobile.
You can fill a ballon with water to make an elastic ball for her.
And, you can make your own maracas by simply using materials in your home.

6 -9 Month Montessori Activities
If you have more than one, it is better if you play games that include both your children. In this way, the bonds between siblings gets stronger.
Their favourite game in this stage is peek-a-boo :) They always laygh at this.
Try spending time in nature as much as possible. Do not worry about getting dirty. Lay them on the grass and take off their socks.
Go to park often and swing them. If she has a sibling, let her swing her. They both will be happier. You stand in front of her and behave as if you are trying to catch her.
They like taking out some pipes or ropes in the holes.
Prepare sensory bags. In the picture below, it is an oil-water colored bag. Pour some oil and colored water. Tape the edges and let her play.
One another no- mass sensorial activity :) Lay a large nylon on the floor. Pour different colors of fingerpaint on it and cover it in the same way again. Tape the edges. Your baby will be surprised as she watches the colors moving and mixing each other.
They still like playing with noisy toys. And puppets are so interesting to them. You will find the rest in the below link:

Lovevery Playkit for 7-8 Month Babies
Though it is easier and faster to buy toys from a store, you can make many toys at home and save a huge amount of money in your pocket! Besides economic dimension, this type of parent behaviour possesses a great pedagogical aspect. It will provide your baby a creative environment.
I started making lovevery toys myself. Actually many of them handable. They need less material, time and effort. Below you will find some examples.
Montessori Permanance Box
You need a small box, something to make incline and box lid.

All you need is to gather some treasures with different textures at home. I found a wool, a tulle, a muslin, a towel and a felt treasure. And then put all in a basket. That is it!
First Puzzle
It is just one piece and it is a circle! All you need is a cardboard. Cut a circle in the middle. Stick something on the circle so that your baby can hold it easily.

9th and 10th Month Baby Montessori Activities
Sensorial Activities:
A sensorial activity with whipped cream and food coloring. She observed the color change as playing with the cream. You can do the same thing with just the cream or yoghurt. The important thing here is, whatever you choose should not be dangerous as they are still mouthing.
Sensory Shape Bags:
You can do sensory bags using different textured, colored fabrics. I put pasta, bean, etc in each. And each has different shapes, such as triangle, square and circle. Since they target different dimensions, this material is important.
Sensory Bins:
Add some new materials in a bin or box for them to play and explore. The material can be anything new. I used pasta. It is both new and easy to clean.
Sensorial Activities in Nature:
Try spending time outside, with sand, grass or water.
Montessori Permanance Box
This and the three materials below, are suitable since they are 7 month old. But I used them at this month so I share them under this title.

Four Planes of Development According to psychological researches it has been accepted that a man does not possess always the same psyche and the same mind at different periods of his life. There are clear distinctions between these periods; indeed, it was applied in educational system all over the world instinctively. And these periods are accompanied with some remarkable physical development. Human being development starts from birth and continues in several dimensions and planes. A child develops both physically and cognitively from zero to 24 years old. This development does not always go in the same line but focuses on different dimensions as time passes. As one psychic characteristic domain at a certain period of growth, the other one starts disappearing, or sometimes they can overlap. Dr. Maria Montessori defines these features into four developmental stages. We can say that the first one, which goes from birth to six years old, is the infanc...
The Absorbent Mind A child’ s development occur in different stages. The first plane is between 0 and 6 years old, and this stage is divided into two sub-phases also: 0 -3 and 3 -6. The memory is observed after three years old. The child is unconscious from the birth to almost three years old, but he can still learn so many things. Now the question is, how a child can still remember if he does not have a memory? The key factor here is, while we learn by our mind, the children just gets in what exists around, i.e. they acquire with their psyche. While the information we learnt remains in somewhere in our memory in separate forms, the child transforms it and makes it a part of himself, and thus, those taken into him becomes incarnate by forming his mind and psychic body. The newborn child is endowed with such a faculty that he can take in the environment and can transform it. It is something different what we know about mind, memory and learning concepts. It is a type of gaini...
Classification Cards First, I decided on the topic, and since we have several kinds of nuts nowadays, I decided on that topic. I have chosen ten types of nut, though there are much more than this, I selected only the ones that we already have in our environment. Then, I searched for nut photographs with white background. Besides, elected photos according to their content, i.e. they should contain both with shell and broken view of the nuts. I saved each in the dimension of 10*7, 5 cm, wrote labels of 1*10 cm, and doubled each because I will need them in making both mute cards and control cards. I printed them colorful, and cut them. Then, stick them on a cardboard to make them hard. All mute cards (with no labels) are piled on the floor and are inverted. The adult takes the card on the top and asks for its name. If the child knows it the adult put it in one side, if she does not know puts it another side. This continues till all the cards are opened. Then, the adult takes almo...
